Factoring by Grouping + GCF + Difference of Squares | Step by Step

In this video, we walk through how to factor four-term polynomials using factoring by grouping, starting with identifying and factoring out the greatest common factor (GCF). Then we group terms, factor within each group, and look for common binomial factors. In one example, we even finish with a difference of squares factorization! This is part of the Factoring: Step by Step playlist from XO Math — ideal for Algebra 1, Algebra 2, or Precalculus students reviewing foundational factoring skills.
